How to measure your head size

To ensure accurate head measurements for a custom hat, please follow these steps:

1. Prepare the Measuring Tape: Use a flexible, non-stretchable measuring tape for accuracy.
2. Position the Tape Correctly:
• Start at the middle of your forehead, just above the eyebrows.
• Wrap the tape around your head, ensuring it stays above your ears and around the largest part of the back of your head.
• The tape should be level all the way around.
3. Measure Snugly but Not Too Tight: The tape should be snug against your head without squeezing. It should feel comfortable as you would want your hat to fit.
4. Take the Measurement:
• Look in a mirror or ask someone to help ensure the tape is level.
• Record the measurement where the tape meets the starting point.
5. Double-Check Your Measurement: To ensure accuracy, measure your head twice. The measurements should match; if not, take a third measurement and use the average of the three.
6. Record in Inches or Centimeters: Note the measurement in either inches or centimeters, depending on your preference or the hat maker’s requirements.
